Based in the UK in the West Midlands area, Special Letters Limited is run by husband and wife team, Christopher and Sharon Spriggs, along with their team of dedicated assistants.

The seeds of what is now Special Letters were sown many years ago when Sharon wanted to send her young niece a letter from Father Christmas. She wanted something magical, exciting, mystical and intriguing......she found a one-page pro-forma, badly written on flimsy paper with no thought put into it at all. From this disappointing search however came the founders first attempt at writing their own letter from Santa and which subsequently set them on the path to what is now Special Letters Limited.

From the start it was agreed the business would be based on quality, quality products and quality of service and as new characters were introduced to the letter portfolio, such as the Tooth Fairy, Birthday Fairy, Easter Bunny, favourite cartoon characters and pets, and as the company diversified to include an array of gifts and letters for 'grown-ups', this ethos has continued and has gone a long way to making the company what it is today.

Of course now, over 17yrs later and with letters being shipped across the world, and with customers that have included the likes of Harrods, Hamleys, Past Times, Lastminute.com, Great Little Trading Company and more and with associations with organisations and charities such as the NSPCC and BBC Children In Need, Special Letters are still writing letters to the highest standards, all with the aim of 'Keeping the magic alive, for just a little while longer.'
